Job Description
Absolute Electrical Systems LLC is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support our electricians and help deliver safe, high-quality electrical installations and repairs.
Position SummaryIn this onsite role in Cocoa, FL, the Electrical Helper assists with day-to-day electrical work under the guidance of licensed electricians. You will help prepare job sites, run materials, support installation tasks, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
You’ll be part of a team that values reliability, attention to detail, and strong safety practices while learning the fundamentals of electrical work on real projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist electricians with installation, troubleshooting support, and basic repair tasks according to job instructions and safety requirements
Prepare job sites by organizing materials, staging tools, and ensuring materials are transported and handled properly
Support wiring, conduit work, and equipment installation tasks as directed, including route planning and basic assembly
Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow safe work practices, including proper handling of electrical components
Communicate with team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and quality standards are met
Ability to work onsite in Cocoa, FL and follow daily job assignments
Willingness to learn electrical procedures and safety practices while assisting skilled tradespeople
Basic understanding of safe tool use and the importance of workplace safety
Ability to perform job-related physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods, as required by job sites
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong willingness to support the team
Experience assisting in electrical, construction, or related hands-on work
Familiarity with general jobsite practices such as material handling, basic tools, and site safety expectations
Comfort working around electrical infrastructure and learning proper safety protocols
Demonstrated teamwork and clear communication with supervisors and coworkers
A willingness to grow into progressively more responsible helper tasks over time
Hourly rate: $16.00 - $20.00
