Description Bring color, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to one of Texas' premier resort destinations. As a Painter at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines, you will play a key role in maintaining the beauty, quality, and guest experience of our expansive resort property.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing painting and finishing work throughout the hotel, including guest-facing areas, back-of-house spaces, and facility infrastructure. You will also support painting needs for renovation and new construction projects as they arise. This role is primarily outdoors and involves working across the resort grounds to help preserve and enhance the appearance of the property.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform painting, staining, refinishing, and surface preparation throughout the resort.
- Maintain the appearance and condition of hotel buildings, structures, and outdoor spaces.
- Assist with painting needs for renovation, improvement, and new construction projects.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Hyatt quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Facilities team to maintain a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in commercial, hospitality, residential, or industrial painting preferred.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
- Experience in drywall repairs, texture and finishing
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Weekends and holiday availability is required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work heights in excess of 15 feet
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous experience in a hotel/service industry is an asset
