Position Overview PMRC Forestry Technician II – Temporary Technical Paraprofessional in the Department of Warnell-Sch Forestry & Natural Resources. FLSA Non‑Exempt, Full‑time equivalent 1.00. Responsibilities Collect accurate measurements of pine and hardwood trees in the field across the 10 state southern region. Install pine research plots at new sites. Apply fertilizer to pine research studies within the same region. Maintain forestry equipment and vehicles. Travel extensively to visit research installations. Qualifications High school diploma. Experience in forest measurements preferred. Knowledge of forestry measurements and tools. Physical Demands Requires working in extreme temperatures and lifting fifty‑pound bags of fertilizer repeatedly.
