RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master. This role is 100% Remote.
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Scrum Master to support multiple technical product teams, with an initial focus on Voice and Chat channel delivery. This is an opportunity for a hands-on Scrum Master who can do more than facilitate meetings. The team is establishing a more consistent Scrum framework, and this role will help bring structure, transparency, and continuous improvement to the way work moves from backlog through delivery. You'll partner closely with Product Owners, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate Agile delivery, remove impediments, improve team performance, and ensure work stays visible and on track.
Duties:
* Manage end-to-end sprint execution across multiple technical product teams, from backlog readiness through sprint completion
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
* Help teams establish and consistently follow effective Scrum and Agile practices
* Partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritized, well-groomed backlogs with clear acceptance criteria, dependencies, and priorities
* Identify, escalate, and drive resolution of impediments that could affect delivery
* Monitor sprint progress and help teams maintain focus on commitments and delivery goals
* Use Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, defect leakage, and delivery quality to identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Pull and analyze reports from Agile project-management tools and translate delivery data into clear updates for stakeholders and leadership
* Facilitate retrospectives that result in specific, actionable improvements and help teams follow through on those commitments
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile delivery lead, or in a comparable Agile delivery role
* Experience supporting technical products, platform, or software development teams
* Hands-on experience managing backlogs, sprints, and Agile delivery using Aha!, Jira, Azure DevOps, or a comparable Agile project-management tool
* Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and keeping teams focused on productive outcomes
* Experience using Agile performance metrics and KPIs to monitor delivery and identify opportunities for improvement
* Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with Product Owners, technical teams, and other stakeholders
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple teams or workstreams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate delivery status, risks, and performance information to both technical and business stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to identify and remove delivery impediments and keep work moving across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Agile/Scrum certification such as CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent
* Hands-on experience with Aha!
* Experience supporting voice, chat, contact center, or digital-channel technology teams
* Experience in financial services, fintech, or SaaS environments
* Experience working with vendor or contractor resources
* Demonstrated success improving measurable team or project outcomes, including delivery speed, throughput, quality, predictability, or other meaningful KPIs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
